40 × 50 cm
Epoxy, marble dust, acrylic, gold leaf on wood panel
A fractured surface of marble dust holds traces of what came before.
Sealed beneath layers of matte epoxy, the image shifts between depth and distance.
Fragments of gilded script in Kurrent handwriting rest on the surface — present as rhythm rather than readable text, subtly articulated in places with fine double gold leaf (23.75 karat).
The work moves between concealment and emergence, where material, memory and surface remain in quiet tension.
Privately exhibited in a church setting, Berlin, summer 2025.
